Thermal Climate Control services all make and model of Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. We install Carrier/Bryant products air handlers or hot air furnaces. We offer Weil Mclain hot water/steam boilers and high efficiency Viessman wall mount boilers.
A properly installed system lasts about 15-20 years. Some factors play into the life of the unit, if the filters were changed on regular intervals, the brand of equipment, properly sized supply/return ductwork, properly installed humidifers.
Thermal Climate Control doesn't recommend drum humidifires, due to the fact that they have a standing pan of water in an enviorment were bacteria and mold can flourish.
A flow thru or a steam humidifier are far superior, in design and operation.
Air filters should be checked every month, if any recent construction in the home, the filters might need to be checked more often.
Thermal Climate Control recommends a pleated filter over a fiberglass air filter.
